‘I love working here and the fact that my children are being taken care of. They are able to attend school because this pays for their school fees. This is a peaceful working environment’
These artisans partners are based in a small village outside of Mombasa, Kenya. The group was born from a realisation that the children who were struggling the most came from single income homes where their mothers did not have many job opportunities and often sold fruit for just mere pennies a day.
The women were taught to sew and screen print and now produce the most beautiful pieces.
They have now realised they are not just better together, they are their best together.
