For our Nomadic Collection - think neutrals and naturals with a splash of black.
Every pendant light in our Bespoke range is a unique weave, respecting the creative direction of the weaver. That is their beauty. We do, however, usually hold stock in very similar weaves - please contact us, or include a note in your order if you are after a pairing.
Available in Small, Medium and Large (see Sizing tab below for details) and come complete with wiring and ceiling rose, ready for installation by your electrician.
Choosing Your Bespoke Shade
- Please email us at hello@her-hands.com.au if you have your eye on a particular shade / design, and we will find something similar. Otherwise, leave it to us and we'll find you something beautiful!
- Please also let us know if you have a preference for similar weaves (eg either side of a bed), or different, complementary weaves to be hung as a grouping
- These shades are handwoven and small batch. While we generally hold limited stock of each size and Collection, there may be a lead time (up to approx. 4 weeks) while we await shipments
Note during our Sale: we strongly recommend that you purchase your pendants first to secure, and then email us at hello@her-hands.com.au if you have a specific request. We will refund your order if we don't have what you are after in stock, but unfortunately we can't hold shades until purchased.

DETAILS

- Handcrafted from sisal using traditional techniques, and coloured with natural dyes made from tree bark, plants and soil
- Wooden shade holder made from upcycled wood
- 1.8m Natural Linen cable and white lampholder and white metal ceiling rose included
- Tested to Australian Standards
- Requires installation by an electrician
- Light bulb not included (suits any E27 globe, max 60W). You can purchase here
- For indoor use only.

Our Woven Pendant lights currently ship free Australia-wide. We also ship to NZ and internationally - please contact us for a quote.
We offer a full refund on Woven Pendant Lights, provided that you email us within 14 days of receiving your order.
Click and Collect (contactless pick up) available from our warehouse at 15 Cochranes Road, Moorabbin, Victoria 3189.
Orders ship via Australia Post - please allow up to 3-5 business days for dispatch, unless otherwise stated in website banner. Dispatch times may be longer during busy periods, such as when new shipments land. Please allow approx two weeks for dispatch during sale periods.

Our weavers live high in the Taita Hills in South East Kenya
They share materials and skills.
But they tell us that much more important to them are the laughs, songs and stories that they share.
They call their group Mapatano which means "togetherness" in Swahili.
Weaving provides an important source of income to these women as droughts become longer and more severe in an area that has traditionally relied on farming.
