Each Bespoke pendant light is a one-of-a-kind piece, handwoven slowly by women artisans in rural South East Kenya, using traditional techniques passed down through generations - in small weaving communities where craft, income and connection are deeply intertwined.
Every shade begins with raw sisal - stripped, softened and dyed using natural pigments from roots, bark and soil, before being carefully woven into form.
The result is lighting that feels deeply human: warm, tactile and rich with story.
Each Bespoke shade is entirely unique, reflecting the creative direction of the individual weaver. They are designed to be mixed and grouped freely, celebrating contrast in tone, texture and pattern - creating spaces that feel organic, layered and full of life.

Our Woven Pendant lights currently ship free Australia-wide. We also ship to NZ and internationally - please contact us for a quote.
We offer a full refund on Woven Pendant Lights, provided that you email us within 14 days of receiving your order.
Click and Collect (contactless pick up) available from our warehouse at 15 Cochranes Road, Moorabbin, Victoria 3189.
Orders ship via Australia Post - please allow up to 3-5 business days for dispatch, unless otherwise stated in website banner. Dispatch times may be longer during busy periods, such as when new shipments land. Please allow 2-3 weeks during sale periods.

Our weavers live high in the Taita Hills in South East Kenya
They share materials and skills.
But they tell us that much more important to them are the laughs, songs and stories that they share.
They call their group Mapatano which means "togetherness" in Swahili.
Weaving provides an important source of income to these women as droughts become longer and more severe in an area that has traditionally relied on farming.
