An invitation to join us in sending a message to the women behind Her Hands
It might be shaped from clay in Lombok, woven by hand in rural Kenya, or made slowly from repurposed paper and coffee grounds in Southern Africa.
From there, it travels a long way before eventually becoming part of a home here.
But the women who make our pieces rarely get to see where their work ends up - or hear the beautiful feedback that we do.
This year, we want to change that.
If you have a Her Hands piece in your home, tell them where it lives. What you love about it. Why you chose it.
Or, if you've admired their work from afar, tell them what their craftsmanship means to you.
Or simply say hello.
At the end of the year, we'll bring your messages together to send to our makers - a collection of stories from where their work has travelled to.
Sarré, Founder of Her Hands
Your message can be as short or as long as you'd like.
If you would like to include a photo of your Her Hands piece at home, you can email your message and image to hello@her-hands.com.au.
