    Pendant Lights

    All of our Pendant Lights are handcrafted and small batch.

    There may be a lead time (up to approx. 6-8 weeks) for new shipments.

    Please contact us at hello@her-hands.com.au and we can let you know what else is coming.

    Products that are on Preorder will be clearly stated in the Product Description. Please see our Shipping and Preorder Policy for full details.

    Chances are, we will be able to help!

    Our Scalloped Pendants come standard with an Antique Brass fitting, however if you would prefer Nickel or Brass you can just include a note at checkout, or send us an email to hello@her-hands.com.au.

    We can also help with longer or different coloured cables. There may be a slight additional cost involved - please send us an emailand we can advise.

    We may have more in stock that are not on the website, or that are on their way to us!

    We offer a full refund on woven Pendant Lights - provided that you email us within 14 days of receiving your order.

    Shipping and Returns

    Shipping varies across our range, and is as noted in the Shipping And Returns drop-down tab in the relevant Product Description.

    Click and Collect (contactless pick up) available from our warehouse at 15 Cochranes Road, Moorabbin, Victoria 318 Mon-Fri 9am-5pm.

    Please allow up to one week for dispatch of in stock Pendant Lights.

    Dispatch times may be longer during busy periods, such as when new shipments arrive. Please contact us at hello@her-hands.com.au if you have a deadline and we will see what we can do!

    Orders ship from our warehouse in Moorabbin, Victoria, via Australia Post.

    If you are not completely happy with your purchase, we will exchange your items or issue you with a credit note (valid for 6 months), provided that you email us within 14 days of receiving your order. 

    We offer a full refund on Pendant Lights orders.

    Yes! You are welcome to collect your items from our warehouse at 15 Cochranes Road, Moorabbin, Vic from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

    Just select Local Pickup at checkout, and you will receive a notification email when your pieces are ready for collection.

    Yes! We do ship Pendants and Baskets to NZ and internationally - please email us hello@her-hands.com.au to arrange a quote.

    Products and Payment

    Yes, we offer Afterpay on orders over $75.

    All of our products are handmade in small batches.

    We don’t want to put undue pressure on our talented artisans, and nor do we want to order surplus stock that ends up as wastage.

    And so sometimes items may have a delayed shipping date, which we will highlight for you prior to purchase.

    There will also be an option to subscribe to our email list to receive notification when your piece is restocked (or opens for Preorder).

    We promise it will be worth the wait.

    Your safety is super important to us.

    You can be assured that all of our products are tested to Australian mandatory standards.

    Business Model

    There are huge benefits for the broader community of investing in women.

    Numerous studies show that women reinvest income they earn back into their family – and their community. Up to 90% of their income, in some cases, compared to the 30-40% reinvested by men.

    The stories that our beautiful artisans tell confirm this. They beam with pride when they talk about being able to educate their children with the money that they earn from their craft.

    As stated in UN Sustainable Development Goal 5, “gender equality is not only a fundamental human right, but a necessary foundation for a peaceful, prosperous and sustainable world".

    We are committed to making production by Fair Trade principles the norm – not the niche.

    We strongly support Fair Trade standards in place to ensure safe, healthy and non-discriminatory workplaces and fair living wages.

    However, as we prioritise working with women in vulnerable populations, not all of our groups have the means to become formally certified. We work to ensure that Fair Trade principles are in place - even if not formally certified.

    We operate on a trade - rather than a proportion of profits - business model.

    While aid is important, our mission is to help to financially empower through sustainable employment.

    We purchase all of our products from our artisan partner groups under Fair Trade principles - so they set the price (we don't negotiate), we don't receive volume based discounts, and in most cases we pay upfront to assist with their purchase of materials etc.
